Our Masked Lovebirds
Our first encounter with the black masked lovebird was when we were kindly invited to visit the aviaries of the late Colin Russell. We were amazed at the variety of colour in his colonies, Colin and his wife Gloria became good friends of ours and before he died Colin taught us all he could about breeding and keeping these wonderful birds. We are forever greatful to Colin and Gloria for their patience, help, advice and most of all their friendship Below is a small selection of photos showing the variety of colours in the masked lovebird mutations.
